Local Mission Week Youth Fellowship will be doing a local mission week again this summer. We are looking for jobs to fill our schedule.Contact Sandy Hofschulte (563) 538-4352 or (563) 586-2210, if you are in need of help or know of someone we could help during this time.
Gunderson Lutheran has had to change its policy on giving information to Pastors. As of September, you must tell them which church you attend EACH TIME YOU ARE ADMITTED. Names of people whose church is not listed will no longer be listed as “unknown”. If you are admitted and can not ask for yourself, please have a family member pre-picked who will call the church or parsonage. Thanks!
In the event of severe weather such as: freezing rain, snow storms, etc... The cancellation committee will contact one another and discuss if the weather is severe enough to cancel church or other related activities. The committee may also contact church members who live in rural areas, to check their road conditions.
If Sunday morning worship or any church related activities is to be cancelled the committee will change the message on the church office answering machine to announce the cancellation of church; and they will contact KWWL TV station, and KNEI, KOEL, WPRE radio stations to announce the cancellation.

Way Station / Thrift Store Monday – Thursday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Friday 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm Donations can be dropped off during Theater or Thrift Store Hours. Donations such as food, clean clothing (all sizes), household items, toys, shoes, and books are accepted. NO furniture or large appliances.
The Movie Theater : Show Times are: Friday 7:00 pm and Saturday 1:00 pm. The movies are all rated G and free. Everyone is welcome! Concessions are available.
